At One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritian influences reign supreme.
Originally opened in 1975 and remodeled in 1999, the resort’s
relaxed and discreet luxury is complemented by service that is
attentive, yet unobtrusive. Here, terraced and balconied rooms
all face out privately to the Indian Ocean. Under the calm sway
of thousands of coconut palms, immaculate gardens run down to
the edge of the coral-sand beach, which seamlessly wraps the
peninsula for over a mile.
The sheltered lagoon provides calm waters for an array of water
sports accessible within steps and idyllic for adults and
children alike. Deft skills dispense sublime calm and confidence
at the spa, a discreet sanctuary with its own private lap pool.
The lush Gary Player 9-hole golf course situated in the resort's
grounds has its own Golf Academy and clubhouse

Restaurants & Bars
Spoon des Îles
The jewel in One&Only Le Saint Géran's gastronomic crown is the
‘haute-couture’ gourmet restaurant Spoon des Îles, creation of
world-renowned Michelin-Star chef Alain Ducasse. Spoon des Îles
represents the first venture out of Paris of Monsieur Ducasse's
Spoon Food & Wine restaurant and explores the world of food with
a tempting array of multi-ethnic cuisines matched by the finest
selected wines, chosen by Monsieur Ducasse's trusted sommelier,
Gérard Margeon.
The holder of three 3-star restaurants in the Michelin Guide,
Alain Ducasse personally oversees all aspects of Spoon des Îles,
from its signature crockery, glassware and linen to its chefs,
maître d’hôtel, and of course, the menu with offerings such as
dorado wrapped in banana leaf, ravioli with fresh water prawns
and wood roasted rack of lamb.
Serving dinner only; reservations required.
Closed on Mondays.
La Terrasse
Surrounding the pool and overlooking the Indian Ocean, La
Terrasse offers an eclectic variety of local and international
specialities. Breakfast offers a sumptuous buffet featuring eggs
cooked to order, fresh baked breads, pastries, cheeses, tropical
fruit, freshly ground coffees and vanilla-flavoured Mauritian
tea. Lunch follows with a choice of fresh local fish and seafood
complemented with Asian-inspired specialties.
Nightly entertainment accompanies dinner, providing an exquisite
voyage of cultural discovery. Table d’hôte menus feature
mouth-watering crayfish and prawns straight from the ocean,
spicy temptations of home-grown Creole cuisine, and the delicate
subtleties of France, India, China and Asia.
Rasoi by Vineet
Opened on 19 October, 2007, Rasoi by Vineet features the
multi-award winning contemporary Indian cuisine of Vineet
Bhatia, whose Michelin-starred Chelsea restaurant was named
"Indian Restaurant of the Year" just a year after it opened.
The new tropical waterside restaurant enjoys a magnificent
natural setting, with views of the green sugarcane-clad
mountains and the private lagoon. Dining at Rasoi by Vineet is a
multi-sensory experience, from the atmospheric tropical fans,
bespoke chill-out music and live "floor show" of chefs in the
kitchen, to the aromas of cooking from the wood-fired oven. The
kitchen features Vineet's signature live acts, including a
TAK-A-TAK grill, a form of traditional Indian Tepanyaki and an
open Tandoor. Reservations required.
The Pool Bar
In the shade of its thatched-roof, The Pool Bar is the ideal
watering hole for guests taking a refreshing dip in the pool, or
basking in the sun nearby. By day, breakfast, lunch and
afternoon tea are served around the bar, whilst at night it is a
wonderful place to gather and sip an Indian Ocean Pearl. Open

Spa & Fitness
Acclaimed internationally as a rejuvenating destination spa, the
spa has received numerous accolades. One&Only, together with
ESPA have created a centre of spa excellence and wellbeing at
One&Only Le Saint Géran. The resort spa is nestled amongst a
lush tropical landscape overlooking a reflecting pool with ocean
views and offers holistic spa treatments, comprehensive fitness
programmes, nutritional advice, pedicures and manicures by
Bastien Gonzalez and hairstyling.
Garden Spa Pavilion
Our unique outdoor spa pavilion is suspended over water amidst
the tropical gardens of One&Only Le Saint Géran. Journey through
an exotic garden walkway to reach this secluded sanctuary. Enjoy
idyllic views over running streams, flora and fauna while you
drift away to the gentle sounds of nature. A special experience
which can be booked alone or shared with a friend or loved one
Massage Therapies
The three signature treatments below are designed to bring you
back to your former self. Specialist advisers will help you
choose the one best suited for you. Once chosen, massages may be
married to a corresponding scrub, wrap and facial, giving you
the complete experience. Other traditional massages, such as
Swedish, Sports, Four-hands, Hot-stone and Reflexology are also
available and can be tailored to individual guest's needs.
Treatments
To be taken either individually or as a series, treatments
include scrubs, wraps, baths and sun treatments. When choosing
more than one treatment, we recommend keeping within the same
path to equilibrium; Unwind, Restore or Elevate.
Scrubs treat your delicate skin to a new start, and complement
corresponding wraps by enveloping your new skin. Baths are
renowned for being relaxing, rejuvenating and warming - all
things that make you feel better, and yet in our hectic world we
forget this simple form of restoration. Sun treatments prepare
your skin for a long-lasting tan, or after a glorious day on the
beach, re-hydrate your skin.
Yoga
The welcoming and calming nature of the resort provides secluded
spots ideal for practising the Art of Yoga in serene
environments. For ease of body and mind, yoga sessions are
offered each Tuesday at 4pm, Thursday at 9am and Saturday at
9am. Guests may also choose private sessions that focus on
different forms of Yoga.
Beauty Centre
Within the resort’s spa and beauty complex, guests may enjoy
hair care and styling, and the pampering nail care developed by
renowned pedicurist Bastien Gonzalez
